The 2nd annual Greater Mekong Sub-Region (GMS) Power Summit and Expo 2015 assembled key players in Myanmar, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Yunnan and offered unprecedented exhibitions and market-oriented sessions.
On May 19, Audray Souche, Kristy Newby, Walter Heiser, Duangkamol Ingkapattanakul and Senesakoune Sihanouvong ran a half-day pre-conference workshop as a prelude of the 2nd annual GMS Power Summit.
The workshop focused on Lao hydropower development, key stakeholders and key issues. During the main conference, Audray gave a presentation on “Licensing and regulatory aspects of power projects in the GMS” and the following day, she moderated a panel titled “Hydropower developments in the GMS region”.
