DFDL’s Julie Kéo Elected to EuroCham Board of Directors

DFDL is pleased to announce that Julie Kéo (Legal Consultant and Business Development Specialist) has been elected to the Board of Directors for the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham).

Julie was elected to a two-year term on the new 12-member leadership board on 20 September 2022 at the EuroCham Annual General Meeting, which was held at the Sofitel Phokeethra in Phnom Penh.

Julie has a deep understanding of Cambodia’s regulatory environment with a particular focus on real estate and healthcare. As a bi-cultural, French-Khmer businesswoman with nearly a decade of experience in Cambodia, she has witnessed the Kingdom’s intense growth and intends to actively contribute to the exciting and ever-growing European business community.

The chance to be a member of the EuroCham Board is a tremendous honor and opportunity,” she said. “I would like to again thank all the members who have given me their votes and their confidence.

As a member of the executive board, Julie will work with EuroCham’s Green Business Committee, among many other projects, hoping to launch, highlight and promote a range of socially and environmentally friendly endeavors.

I am grateful for the experience of the exiting board members and energized to learn from my new colleagues as we embark on our mission to build a more inclusive business environment and find creative solutions for important issues,” she said.

Julie added: “I will always encourage the search of diverse opportunities to increase our capacity to advocate for the interests and concerns of our members — and respond to their needs and requests.”

Founded in June 2011, EuroCham is the voice of European businesses in Cambodia, representing 11 European countries and more than 330 members. As a longstanding EuroCham member, the entire DFDL team congratulates Julie on her election and wishes her all the best as a member of the 2022-2024 Board of Directors.
