This year’s survey was distributed to 21,000 in-house Counsel across 11 jurisdictions in Asia and the Middle East of which 686 individual responded. The questions a mix of multiple choice, open questions to express views of in-house counsel in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the UAE and Vietnam on the quality of legal services. Furthermore, they were able to nominate the firms rather than choose from a list (recall vs. recognition). Hence as such, the survey is a qualitative representation of the legal landscape.
