DFDL has the pleasure and honor to host a breakfast workshop on Trust: a structure to manage your family and corporate assets on Tuesday 7 March 2023, from 8am to 12pm at Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, under the high patronage of His Excellency Sok Dara Director General of the Trust Regulator.
In 2019, Cambodia introduced a new Trust Law followed by implementing regulations which together have been a major development for the Country’s legal and commercial landscape. A trust is a legal arrangement which allows a trustee to hold property for the benefit of another person. The trust sector in Cambodia is still relatively new although recently there has been some publicity regarding the role of trustees especially with respect to the control and management of immovable property.
Our breakfast workshop will provide you with a deep understanding of commercial and personal trusts which will enable you to make informed decisions for your investments and give you an insight into the regional taxation trends that Cambodia may follow in the future.
