ASEAN PATH is a series of white papers prepared by DFDL’s experts aiming to assess, in more depth, compelling issues arising from the regional economic integration under the auspices of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (“ASEAN”) Economic Community Blueprint. The guide features analysis of the ASEAN Competition law. Competition law is already here in ASEAN; however it is neither pervasive nor consistent in its implementation among Member States. This guide provides a synopsis of current competition law, including any recent developments in each member state.
