DFDL briefs German Business Visitors on Lao PDR
Brennan Coleman, DFDL Lao PDR Managing Director, and Deputy Mnaging Director Rupert Haw provided a general overview of the economy and investment environment in the Lao PDR to a delegation of German business people over dinner on November 1st. Andrew Lamb, Head of Institutional Bnaking at ANZ Lao PDR was also a speaker.
The delegation was organized by the German Asia-Pacific Association (OVA), that is based in Hamburg, Germany. the 15 attendees represented companies with a range of business interests including infrastructure, textiles, electronics, technology and engineering, consulting and food industry. At ANZ’s suggestion due to DFDL’s strong ties in the Lao PDR, DFDL was invited to present to the delegation.
“The presentation went very well and the participants were very engaged,” said Brennan. “We have already received a few leads for new work arising from the presentation, so it was time well spent.”
