Sarawak, the rich energy and resource state in Malaysia will host the 2nd International Energy Week (IEW) after the successful inaugural event in 2009. The IEW 2012 which will be held on 16-17 October 2012 at the Borneo Convention Centre, Kuching is the focal point of the who’s who in the energy, power and oil & gas industry in the region.

The International Energy Conference 2012 will be held in conjunction with the International Energy Week 2012 Exhibition. It is designed to create a perfect climate for the regional power sectors stakeholders and investors globally to converge and meet. The International Energy Conference 2012 is tailored to everyone to meet face-to-face and discuss a wide spectrum of recent trends and research and development in the region, whilst keeping in mind the industry objective of sustainable development growth for Asia. More than 20 eminent guest speakers representing various ministries and its agencies, inter-governmental organizations, practicing consultants, commercial catalysts from the region will speak on a range of topical issues and future prospects.
