Martin Hardy is a legal adviser based in our office in Vientiane, the Lao PDR. He has over 3 years’ legal experience across legal consultant, legal adviser, research assistant, and legal clerk roles in Australia, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Lao PDR. His experience includes advising clients on domestic and cross-border commercial transactions, import-export trade, company law, and employment legislation in Thailand. In Australia, he worked primarily in criminal law and assisted barristers in their trial preparations in a combined clerk/ researcher role.
He graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2017 and was admitted to practice as a lawyer in South Australia in December 2018. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
He is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group and the Employment Law Practice Group.
