Mar Mar is a Senior Adviser based in our Yangon office. Her primary focus is on real estate, energy, mining and infrastructure projects, and banking and finance. She advises both local and international clients covering all aspects of due diligence and documentation, and has coordinated investment and joint venture deals across multiple jurisdictions.

Mar Mar has extensive experience in legal research across a wide variety of topics. She has also advised clients on a variety of corporate matters, including corporate governance, entity formation, and shareholder agreements.

She has also been heavily involved in preparing the market entry report for a rare earth mining project, providing advice, and conducting due diligence for the large-scale solar power projects investments in Myanmar.

She holds a Master of Research and a Master of Law from Yangon University, and a Bachelor of Law from the University of East Yangon, Myanmar. Her PhD research focused on International Law with particular attention on Baselines under the Law of the Seas. Mar Mar's expertise is recognized in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2024 rankings and IFLR 1000 rankings as a Rising Star, reflecting her dedication and impact in the legal field.
