Guillaume has over 20 years of experience in foreign direct investment, real estate and construction, technical assistance projects and dispute resolution matters. Over the course of nearly two decades working in South-East Asia, Guillaume has developed an extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the management of project teams for high profile transactions.

He has been a team leader for a number of major real estate and agriculture-related projects, has played an important role in landmark property deals, advised international groups on land use and construction rights, banks and private equity funds for the structuring of projects, supervised the acquisition and structuring of hospitality projects, worked on industrial development projects, advised numerous international and local investors in the retail sector, and has worked on several infrastructure and technical assistance consultancies. Since 2023, Guillaume heads DFDL’s European Desk which collaborates with international and local law firms in Europe to offer extensive experience and support for market entry and outbound commercial projects for clients based in South-East Asian markets and continues working with our core markets, to coordinate work for European FDI projects in South-East Asia with a multi-jurisdiction focus.

Guillaume is highly regarded and recognized by several prestigious publications and organizations for his expertise and achievements. He is ranked as a leading individual by Legal 500 Cambodia 2023, as highly regarded in Project Development by IFLR100 2023, as a Distinguished Practitioner for Construction, Corporate and M&A by Asialaw 2023, and as a Band 2 lawyer by Chambers Asia Pacific Cambodia – General Business Law 2023.
