Transfer pricing is one of the most publicized international tax issues in the developed world today. The reasons for this are the political and media attention generated in relation to the tax affairs of multinational companies such as Google, Apple, Amazon, and Starbucks. In particular, the focus is how the majority of the company profits are recognized, for tax purposes, in low or no tax countries.
