On 16 July 2020, DFDL Partner and Bangladesh Managing Director, Shahwar Nizam, was pleased to participate in the latest IPFA live panel discussion on ‘Bangladesh – A Market Full of Opportunities’.
Over the course of an hour, the panel of energy and infrastructure experts explored the present opportunities available in Bangladesh, breaking down why the legal and contracting framework has been of such interest to international investors and lenders. They discussed current ongoing developments and shared their thoughts on why Bangladesh is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for foreign investors.
Shahwar answered questions in regard to energy and infrastructure projects and how to finance them and shared his latest legal and tax insights along with his industry expertise on how to optimally and successfully invest in Bangladesh.
