DFDL congratulates Kyaw Kyaw Han, Legal Adviser at DFDL Myanmar, on his election as an Executive Committee (“Exco“) member of the Singapore Association of Myanmar (“SAM“) in Yangon.
Founded in 1993, SAM is a non-profit organization committed to promoting charitable, business, social, and sports-related activities for its members in Myanmar. SAM’s primary objective is to strengthen the relationship between Singapore and Myanmar while raising funds for charitable causes and programs that also advance the interests of its members, partners, and associates. The SAM Executive Committee (Exco), a group of 18 board members, was elected during the Annual General Meeting held on 21 August 2024. The Exco is divided into four committees – Charity, Business, Social, and Sports – each dedicated to advancing SAM’s goals. Comprising business leaders from Singapore and Myanmar, many of whom have extensive experience in Myanmar, the Exco generously volunteers its skills and expertise to foster bilateral economic relations—a mission it takes very seriously.
Kyaw Kyaw Han, a legal expert on Myanmar affairs, will offer valuable legal perspectives to the SAM and its members. His contributions will support the strengthening of economic ties between Myanmar and Singapore. In addition to legal updates, Kyaw Kyaw Han will share practical approaches and offer valuable insights, providing SAM members with actionable strategies and a deeper understanding of the legal landscape.
